FESTIVAL READING GROUP: Small Island by Andrea Levy
In association with Stroud Library
In partnership with our friends at Stroud Library and as part of the BBC’s “100 Novels That Shaped the World” strand, we invite you to a special open reading group discussion of Andrea Levy’s multi-award-winning novel, “Small Island”.
Read or re-read the book prior to the event, and then join in our conversation, sharing your own thoughts and comments on Andrea Levy’s seminal novel with our panel, and with your fellow readers.
We are delighted to welcome acclaimed novelists Rachel Joyce and Nikesh Shukla – both huge admirers of “Small Island” – and chair Cathy Rentzenbrink to lead our discussion on this magnificent novel about empire, prejudice, war and love.
