Dear Festival Friends

We’re delighted to announce that our full 2026 Stroud Book Festival programme is now available to browse on our website – stroudbookfestival.org.uk.

We’ll be presenting more than 40 events for readers of all ages over the five days of the Festival – 4-8 November – so please “dive in” (thank you Tom Sears for the splashtastic illustration above) and get planning! For those who like to do this via our printed brochure, we’re currently working hard to finalise this and hope to have it printed and ready within the next 3 weeks.

Unfortunately, we have had to put our ticket prices up slightly this year, due to ever rising costs, including increased booking fees at the box office. We haven’t done this lightly, and we hope you still feel able to support us. We believe our events remain good value when compared to those at other book festivals around the country. As ever we’re enormously grateful to all the sponsors and donors who enable us to stage our Festival, including paying all the human creative people who will make it all happen in this National Year of Reading.
