Stroud Book Festival Schools’ Day 2021

DEAR TEACHERS, PARENTS, CARERS & CHILDREN,

On Thursday 4th November 2021, for the fourth year running, we are delighted to invite you to our annual Stroud Book Festival Schools’ Day, a day of events specially programmed for Key Stage 2 classes (years 3-6).

We look forward to hosting events from the following fantastic authors:

Kate Pankhurst: Fantastically Great Women Scientists and their Stories  (yrs 3-5)

https://www.katepankhurst.com

Alex Warton: Daydreams and Jellyfish (yrs 3-6)

https://alexwhartonpoet.co.uk

Piers Torday: The Wild Before (yrs 4-6)

https://www.pierstorday.co.uk

Our programme of live events will be again held at the Stroud Subscription Rooms, who will also handle our box office.

Thanks to generous funding from the Summerfield Trust, we intend to also make the events available virtually, in the event that a school (or individual) can’t attend in person.

Full ticket information to follow.

Huge thanks to our sponsors, ALCS, for their continued support of Stroud Book Festival Schools’ Day.

Please visit their website for more details of their invaluable work: www.alcs.co.uk

Please do save the date!

We look forward to welcoming you to Stroud Book Festival 2021.
